The Jobs Assist Grant has been developed to provide eligible Queensland businesses with advice and consultancy services to help weather current economic conditions, ensure resilience, growth and the sustainability of jobs for you and your staff. Essentially a two stage process with up to $8,000 funding for consulting assistance is available.

Stage one starts with a $3,000 business audit to assess and diagnose key issues impacting on your business and develop an action plan to help you create strategies and activities which will improve the business model.
Stage two offers $5,000 worth of funding to engage a consultant to mentor, provide advice and assist with the implementation of the strategies and activities identified in stage one.

The JobsAssist program is available to businesses which have an established operating base in Queensland, employ ten or more full time (equivalent) employees, possess an ABN (Australian Business Number), are registered for GST, are financially vulnerable* and either fall within one of the key industry sectors outlined below OR are located within one of the Priority Employment Regions under the Federal Government's Keep Australia Working strategy.  

*Clients who have experienced either a 25% contraction in their working capital (current assets less current liabilities) between the last two financial years, or have had negative working capital in both of these periods.
